This course aims to settle uncertainties by examining the multistructuralcomplexity of the elbow joint, as well as its relationship with the rest of the upper quarter.

Don’t be fearful of the Elbow patient. Get to understand how to assess and manage the Elbow better with Tanya Bell Jenje.

What this course will cover:

Clinical Anatomy & Biomechanics of the elbow as it should be applied in your treatment rooms.

Common conditions that challenge the physio such as Lateral & Medial epicondylagia, the unstable elbow, the stiff elbow and the throwing elbow will be discussed.

A critical review of current (2021) research into different treatments techniques and trends is included.

The relationship of the elbow to associated areas, such as the cervical and thoracic spine and the shoulder is investigated.

Some helpful assessment techniques and tools will be taught & practiced.

Treatment techniques demonstrated include some that simultaneously target different structures, addressing the multistructural nature of most chronic elbow pain.

Finally, a detailed rehabilitation program is described for tendinopathies, the throwing elbow & the post-operative elbow.
