In-Person Practical Course
What will you achieve?
In this course we will review some of the most current published evidence around dry needling as it relates to sports people.
We will cover both pre-habilitation and re-habilitation uses for dry needling. The course will also have a practical component where participants can practice the techniques covered in the lectures, and also have the opportunity to revise areas of their particular interest under supervision.
Included in the content are both lower limb (knees, hips, ankle, plantar fascia) and upper limbs (shoulder, elbow).

- How to think about dry needling in a sporting context
- History of Needling Tendons
- Prophylactic needling
- Timing of needling treatment plan
- Dry Needling Adverse events in a Sports Context
- Dealing with Post Needling soreness
- Practical needling techniques of the calf, hamstrings, quadriceps, rotator cuff and teres major
